Keeping your AdBlock filters up to date

To update your adblock lists and ensure you continue to block ads on Android and block ads on iOS effectively:

On Android:
Settings --> Privacy Guard --> Ads & Trackers Blocker --> Content Filter (button in the top-right) --> Update (button in the top-right)

On iOS:
Settings --> Privacy Guard --> Ads & Trackers Blocker --> Content Filter (button in the top-right) --> Update Lists button

Keeping your filters updated helps maintain optimal performance similar to popular tools like uBlock Origin, ensuring strong ad and tracker blocking across all sites.

Customizing Your AdBlock experience

Within the Content filtering menu, you can enable additional filter lists which may provide more comprehensive blocking of annoying or distracting elements, or ads on regional websites.

Creating your own filters

Quetta Browser allows you to create and apply your own custom adblock filters through writing filters manually, giving you full control over how you block ads on Android and block ads on iOS.

To view and modify your own custom adblock filters:

On iOS/Android:
Settings --> Privacy Guard --> Ads & Trackers Blocker --> Content Filter (button in the top-right) --> Create custom filters

Writing filters manually

Creating your own adblock filter rules can further modify the way websites work or display on your device.

Quetta is broadly compatible with uBlock Origin's filter rule syntax. We encourage you to refer to the uBlock Origin Static filter syntax page.
