To manage Quetta’s built-in ad blocker filters, open Settings → Privacy Guard → Ads & Trackers Blocker → Content Filter. From there you can update lists, choose additional filters and open custom rules. Update your filter lists
Filter lists contain rules used to identify matching advertising, tracking and page elements. Updating the lists is different from updating the Quetta app; both can matter when a website changes.
On Android
Open Quetta Settings.
Go to Privacy Guard → Ads & Trackers Blocker.
Open Content Filter using the control at the top right.
Select Update at the top right.
Return to the website, reload it, and repeat the action you were checking.
On iOS
Open Settings → Privacy Guard → Ads & Trackers Blocker → Content Filter, then select Update Lists. After the update, return to the page and reload it.
Menu placement can change between releases. Updating a list may improve coverage, but it cannot guarantee that every ad on every website is removed.
Choose additional lists for a specific need
Use the default selection as your starting point. Consider an additional list when it addresses a defined problem, such as unwanted elements on websites in a language you frequently use.
Before changing the selection, record the active lists. Enable one additional list, reload and check both the unwanted element and the website’s main function. If the page becomes unusable or the change does not help, return to your previous selection.
More lists can introduce overlapping rules. A working sign-in button, video player or form matters as much as the number of elements hidden.

Keep a copy of your existing rules before editing them. Add only a rule whose purpose you understand, then test it on the intended website. Quetta’s filter support should not be assumed to include every capability of another blocker.

Reload once more to confirm the result.
An unchanged page may be affected by a separate extension or network filter. Do not assume the new Quetta rule failed until you know which filtering layers are active.
