Quetta Release Notes

We are excited to announce that we have officially launched browser extension support for Quetta. You can enhance the capabilities of your browser by installing and managing your favorite extensions. Go to Settings > Extensions to start exploring.

Please note that since nearly all extensions are designed for desktop browsers, the APIs they use may not be supported on mobile devices.

• Fixed some exceptions that could occur when running popular browser extensions.

• Supported undoing recently closed tabs, offering greater flexibility in managing your tabs.

• Added tapping and holding on the Close All button in Tab Manager to clear browsing history.

• Implemented auto-retrieval for expired videos in Playlist, allowing seamless viewing without interruption.

• Introduced a brand-new extension pop-up launch method that allows for quick start and leave without creating redundant persistent tabs. In this version, we’ve improved its performance and styling.

• Added support for installing Microsoft Edge Add-ons, giving you more options for extension sources.

• Enhanced several implementation mechanisms within the extension, resulting in improved stability and reduced memory usage.

Known Issues

• Some extensions that use higher privilege APIs may not work properly in private tabs, even if Run in Private Space is enabled.

• Since nearly all extensions are designed for desktop browsers, the APIs they use may not be supported on mobile devices.

• Fixed an issue where the file download process could be terminated unexpectedly.

• Enhanced translation and localization experiences.

• Resolved an issue with the user interface display of Privacy Guard.

• Fixed various crashes and ANRs and improve overall performance and stability.
