Quetta Data Vault protects access to Playlist, Downloads, History, and Favorites with biometric or PIN authentication. To lock it, tap the three dots to the right of the address bar, then tap the three dots at the upper right of the menu panel. Open the Data Vault lock control and follow the authentication prompt.

Data Vault adds an access boundary inside the browser. It is useful before lending someone your phone or letting another person use Quetta, particularly when the device is already unlocked.
How to lock Data Vault
Open Quetta.
Tap the three-dot menu to the right of the address bar.
In the menu panel, tap the three-dot control at the upper right.
Use the Data Vault lock option.
Follow the on-screen flow for biometrics or a PIN.
Try opening a protected area and confirm that access requires authentication.
Use the prompt shown in your current app version. Do not assume that simply closing the menu or leaving a page has locked the vault.
Verify the lock before handing over your phone
Check one protected area immediately after locking. Then verify the others if you rely on them: Playlist, Downloads, History, and Favorites.
If an area opens without the expected prompt, check the vault state before sharing the device. Keep the phone with you while testing; you do not need another person or sensitive test content to confirm the result.
Do not assume an automatic timeout. Manually lock Data Vault when you want to establish the boundary, and use your Android screen lock to protect the device as well.
Data Vault and Privacy Guard solve different problems
Data Vault controls access to selected areas inside Quetta. Privacy Guard also includes browsing controls for supported tracking, cookies, scripts, and related behavior.
A vault lock does not hide your IP address or remove an account identity from a website. Similarly, blocking an online tracker does not prevent someone holding an unlocked phone from opening an unprotected local app.

What about exported downloads?
Treat an exported or shared file as a separate copy. Check where it was saved, which app can open it, and whether that location is accessible to other people.
Do not assume Data Vault controls files in another app, a public folder, or a cloud service. When you need to keep a download within Quetta's protected workflow, verify its location and lock the vault before sharing access to the browser.
If authentication does not work
Use the available authentication flow shown in the app. If you cannot regain access, contact Quetta through its official FAQ and support options before clearing app data or reinstalling.
Clearing storage is not a verified recovery method and may remove data. Follow current product guidance rather than assuming a PIN reset will preserve everything.
